El bucle foreach s'utilitza per iterar ràpidament sobre els elements d'un contenidor (matriu, vectors, etc.) sense realitzar inicialització, prova o increment/disminució. Els bucles Foreach funcionen fent alguna cosa per a cada element en lloc de fer alguna cosa n vegades. Tot i que no hi ha cap bucle foreach en C, és compatible amb C++ i Java. Es va introduir per primera vegada en C++ a C++ 11, i en Java a JDK 1.5.0. Tant en C++ com en Java, la paraula clau per a bucle foreach és 'for'.
