Què és un Array?

Una matriu és un tipus d'estructura de dades que emmagatzema una mida fixa d'una col·lecció de dades homogènia. En resum, podem dir que array és una col·lecció de variables del mateix tipus.

Per exemple, si volem declarar 'n' nombre de variables, n1, n2...n., si creem totes aquestes variables individualment, esdevé una tasca molt tediosa. En aquest cas, creem una matriu de variables del mateix tipus. Es pot accedir a cada element d'una matriu mitjançant un índex de l'element.
